Install Office 365

How to Download and install office 365

1.) Go to the Office Portal page by Clicking on the link: M365 Office Install

2.) Enter your Tauira login details:

TauiraID@akonga.twoa.ac.nz
Password

*Example: 20000000@akonga.twoa.ac.nz

*If unsure of your e-mail address or password, please ask your Kaiako or call 0800 808 789

3.) Once logged in, Choose Apps & Devices then click Install Office.

4.) Follow the instructions on screen (Allow 20-30mins for install)

5.) Once installed and it says Completed. Do a restart on your device, then when your back - open the Word application.
(You can search the app on your taskbar at the bottom of your screen for Windows devices, or for MAC devices you can find the Office apps in the Finder app under Applications)

6.) Once the Word application is opened Click the Sign in on the top right hand corner. (You may already be signed into your own personal account, if so please choose the Add account option)

7.) Sign in with your student details again

Please note: there will be a point in the sign in process where it will ask you if you want to register your device with the Organization for this you need to choose NO.

ALL DONE!

Note: The student license for Office only includes Microsoft Access or Microsoft Publisher on Windows, not on Mac OS or Linux.
